Nike Kobe 9 EM Low Review
Kobe 9 Low: Traction- 9.7
The Nike Kobe 9 EM Low has the best traction I have ever seen in a basketball shoe. It has a solid rubber outsole that provides a fantastic grip on the court and is able to withstand wear and tear from an intense game. The traction pattern also helps with quick cuts and fast movements, so you can feel confident when making a play. If you buy the Kobe 9, you will not have a problem with traction.
Kobe 9 Low: Comfort- 8.5
The Nike Kobe 9 EM Low provides an incredibly comfortable fit. The shoe is lightweight and has a foam midsole that absorbs shocks and provides cushioning to your feet. The interior of the shoe also features Nike’s Fly wire technology for added support, as well as a breathable mesh to keep your feet cool during long hours on the court.
Kobe 9 Low: Weight- 9.3
The Nike Kobe 9 EM Low is incredibly light. It weighs in at just 14 ounces, making it one of the lightest basketball shoes on the market. This makes it perfect for players who are looking for a lightweight shoe that won’t hinder their movements or add extra weight to their feet. The low weight also allows you to make quick cuts and moves on the court with ease.
Kobe 9 Low: Durability- 7.3
With all the things the Nike Kobe 9 EM Low thrives at, it is bound to have a couple of setbacks. The Kobe 9 Low does not have the best durability due to its lightweight construction. If you plan on playing in this shoe for a long period of time, then you may need to invest in some additional protection for the shoe.
Kobe 9 Low: Fit- 9.2
The Nike Kobe 9 EM Low fits true to size and your feet won’t feel any discomfort when wearing the shoe. It has a snug fit that locks your foot in place and prevents any movement while playing. The Kobe 9 lacing system also provides an easy way for you to adjust the fit of the shoe.
Kobe 9 Low: Ventilation- 7.8
The Nike Kobe 9 EM Low does not have the greatest ventilation, but it is still decent. The mesh upper provides some airflow to keep your feet cool, but it is not as breathable as some other basketball shoes. If you are looking for more ventilation, then you may want to look elsewhere.
Kobe 9 Low: Overall- 9.1
Overall, the Nike Kobe 9 EM Low is one of, if not the best basketball shoes I have ever reviewed. I can not say enough about the traction and fit of this shoe. Also, the engineered mesh in this basketball shoe helps so much with the fit, weight, and cushioning. The Kobe 9 Low also doesn’t have any big problems, it might not thrive in ventilation and durability, but it makes up for it with the fit, traction, and weight. I highly recommend the Kobe 9 EM Low if you are looking for a great basketball shoe.
Kobe 9 EM Low vs. Kobe 8 System?
The Kobe 9 EM Low and the Kobe 8 System are both amazing basketball shoes. They both thrive in traction, weight, and fit. The Kobe 9 however has better traction and fit, but the Kobe 8 has better weight. The Kobe 9 has better comfort, but the Kobe 8 has better ventilation. When it comes to durability, neither of these shoes did particularly well, but the Kobe 8 really struggled. Overall, The Kobe 9 EM Low is a slightly better basketball shoe than the Kobe 8 System, but they are both amazing shoes.
